Pacific Biodiesel Texas was conceptualized in July, 2005 by Willie and Annie Nelson and Bob and Kelly King of Pacific Biodiesel, Inc. The Nelsons had first been introduced to biodiesel several years ago as customers of the Pacific Biodiesel pump station in Maui, Hawaii.

PB Texas is the second biodiesel production partnership for Willie Nelson and Pacific Biodiesel, Inc. as the Nelsons are also invested in the Sequential-Pacific Biodiesel plant in Salem, Oregon. Willie Nelson has become the leading advocate and spokesperson for the biodiesel industry in America.

Pacific Biodiesel developed its first production plant on Maui in 1996 and, having operated the first retail biodiesel pump in the country, is recognized as a pioneer in the U.S. biodiesel industry. Its community-based biodiesel production model is built around the utilization of local feedstock, local fuel production and local delivery of premium ASTM quality fuel. The Carl’s Corner plant is the ninth biodiesel refinery built by Pacific Biodiesel, Inc.
