Pacific Biodiesel, Inc. today announced that their Nagano plant, built for Yoshida & Co., will be capable of making 600,000 liters / year of biodiesel from used cooking oil. The capability of expansion to 1,200,000 liters / year has been built in. Most of the oil will come from the KFC restaurant chain, but other restaurants and tempura shops will also be able to recycle their oil into biodiesel.
